Lola Vice’s Public Insult: Did Dominik Mysterio “Expose” and Humiliate Her?
The WWE NXT ring is always filled with fire and drama, but an event from March 5, 2024, is still a major topic of discussion. That was the day when WWE NXT Women’s Championship contender, Lola Vice, was outsmarted and made the victim of a brutal insult in her own game. His motive was clear: to vent his anger on behalf of his Judgment Day stablemate, the WWE Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley. Lola Vice, a dominant force in her own right, confronted Dom, perhaps thinking he was the weakest link of The Judgment Day.
However, Lola underestimated that in the ring, experience can sometimes outweigh raw power. Dominik, using the wisdom gained from his battles with his father, Rey Mysterio, and his time with The Judgment Day, used Lola’s own aggression against her. After a quick counter, he attempted to hit her with his famous finishing move, ‘The 619’. And then… it happened.
“Insult” and “Being Exposed” – The Truth in the Words
When a male superstar attempts to attack a female superstar with her own signature move, it is considered a major ‘insult’ in the wrestling world. It sends a message: “I don’t take you seriously enough to not use your own moves to embarrass you.”
The word “exposed” fits perfectly here. Dominik Mysterio completely laid bare Lola Vice’s strategy, her fighting style, and her aggression. He demonstrated that he could predict her every move and counter it. In a way, he completely ‘exposed’ her, on live TV in front of millions of fans. He cracked her confidence, which in wrestling terms is a way to ‘humiliate’ or ‘disgrace’ (badnaam) someone.
Is This Dominik’s New Character?
‘Dirty’ Dom is already one of WWE’s most hated villains (heels). But this move shows that he is no longer just Rhea Ripley’s sidekick. He is now using the technical skills inherited from his father Rey Mysterio’s legacy to intimidate others. Attempting to deliver a 619 to a female superstar is a bold and dirty tactic that perfectly suits his ‘Dirty Dom’ character.
What’s Next?
One thing is for certain: this issue is not over. Lola Vice, a fierce Latina competitor, will not forget this insult. This could be the start of a new rivalry that might cross over from NXT to the main roster. Will we see a future match between Lola Vice and Dominik Mysterio? Or will Lola take her anger out directly on Rhea Ripley?
